PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) and PRF (Platelet Rich Fibrin) are derived from our blood. They are rich in stem cells and essential growth factors for a healthy, glowing complexion and increased hair growth.
EZ Gel is made using plasma extracted after the PRF process.
The difference lies in the tubes used for extraction. PRP tubes contain anticoagulants to stop the blood from clotting, while PRF tubes do not because we want to use the plasma to make EZ Gel.
You might have heard the term 'Vampire Facial' in the media. This trend started in Beverly Hills and was made famous by celebrity endorsements. This is essentially a PRP facial.
All PRP and PRF treatments, including EZ Gel, involve the drawing of blood from the arm of the client. This blood is then placed in a centrifuge and spun at high speed to separate the red blood cells from the white (plasma).
The plasma is then extracted and used in the treatment. It can either be injected or Microneedled back in to the client's skin or scalp (for hair loss treatments).
